Its going faster now that I’ve abandoned hope of doing remotely properly, having nothing to lose brings a certain creative freedom to it. That and I have my own ancient,  non-valuable, shitty cars from the 60s to work on.

Incredible is not on the menu for this project. It will be a car that is 99 % steel. I can’t actually fix this car, If it were a M iura, sure.  B ut I’d re com mend a better bodyman than me if you need this sort of work on your lambo.

I understand what you're saying, but if you can get the car to 99% metal and looking decent, that will be an incredible accomplishment.

I’m going to slice them right where it drops off under the doors. I’ll add some steel to the bottom of the inner rocker and cut off the excess after I plug weld the bottom of rocker. I have a complete inner and outer rocker but ideally you’d do that before you replaced the floor. I’ve already done some of this car twice, so I’m gonna work with what’s left to preserve my sanity.  I can’t do it all the way into the doorjamb because the car already has a slight sag to it and doing the right thing might make the doors not close.
